Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor of arts in graphic design or similar field.
• Minimum of five years’ relevant experience with graphics, preferably in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience in videography, photography, and animation is advantageous.
• Driver’s licence and own vehicle.

Key performance areas:

• Provide creative input and assist in developing strategic communications projects within the water and sanitation directorate.
• Design and develop water and sanitation promotional material aligned with corporate guidelines and approved by corporate communications.
• Prepare scamps and storyboards, discuss them with clients and supervisors, and implement changes as needed for approval.
• Ensure timely production and distribution of graphic materials for the directorate.
• Coordinate with clients, both internal and external, to brainstorm and determine graphic needs for water and sanitation projects.
• Present concepts to clients within scope and authority.
• Draft routine correspondence and reports, respond to enquiries, and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Manage information technology requirements within the functional area, ensuring the unit has relevant hardware and software.
• Provide financial support by assisting with procurement, offering financial information, and ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
