Online advertising spend on the increase
US online advertising spend is up 4.8% this year with projected growth accelerating for at least 3 years, according to the latest eMarketer's Advertising Spending report. For the first quarter of 2003, total US advertising spend increased 4.9% with the certain media doing substantially better than the average, such as cable TV increasing 18%, Consumer magazines increasing 12% and Internet advertising increasing 12.2%.
