Country newspaper award goes to Zululand

The Zululand Observer was the overall winner at the recent fourth annual Caxton Country Newspaper Awards, receiving the First Graphics gold award. First Graphics and Sappi Kraft jointly hosted the awards designed to promote quality among the printing operations that make up the Caxton Country Forum, including the Northern Media Group, The Middelburg Observer, The Lowvelder, the Highway Mail and the Newcastle Advertiser. The silver award went to Highway Mail and the bronze was claimed by the Northern Review. The overall top-performing employee was Willie Richards of the Middelburg Observer who received the Sappi prize.
