Trudon, Chevron warn of SMS scam

A scam SMS message, purportedly from Chevron UK and Trudon Mobile, has been denounced as a fraud by both parties and reported to the police in both the UK and South Africa. The message promises recipients that they have won R1 million from the UK. "This is a scam and Trudon has nothing to do with this so-called sponsorship," says Lionel Smith, GM marketing for Trudon, publishers of Yellow Pages and owners of Trudon Mobile.
