The 2010 LG Mobile Worldcup Championship will host 32 contestants from 16 countries on 26 January 2011 at Gotham Hall, in New York for a US$100 000 prize money. South Africa's Olivia Burton (15) and Wilbur Hough (23) of Cape Town, who were SA's fastest texters in the national championships, are off to New York to compete in the six challenges which include the new Touch Phone Games category. The contender who is able to break the existing mobile texting record of 7.25 characters per second will also be recognised as the new Guinness Book of Records holder.
