Talk Radio 702 earlier this week handed over 734 Garmin Nüvi GPS systems to the South African Police Service (SAPS) at the station's Sandton offices, following an on-air appeal to listeners by morning show host, John Robbie, two weeks ago. The appeal followed a request that was made to the station by an SAPS flying squad member. The systems will first and foremost go to flying squad members, and then to other officers across Gauteng.
