Rhenus to expand footprint after 25 years in SA
Rhenus South Africa, a global logistics company, is celebrating 25 years in business. The company also plans to further expand into Africa.
In 2022, a new branch will open in Gauteng province, extending the South African footprint. Additionally, the company plans to expand its warehouse space in KwaZulu Natal in the new year. By 2025, Rhenus Group will grow its African reach through partnerships and acquisitions.
Rhenus South Africa was founded as WACO in Johannesburg in 1996 before becoming World Net Logistics in 2002. It officially became Rhenus Logistics South Africa in 2020 after being acquired by the Rhenus Group headquartered in Germany.
