Al Jazeera to face legal action for fake news

Saudi Arabian businesswoman and economy columnist Nawf Al Ghamdi is taking legal action against Al Jazeera. The Qatar-based news channel had published a fake report which claimed that Saudi authorities had held in detention.

The report claimed that Al Ghamdi had published a news article in which she criticised the government of Saudi Arabia.
