Uber Eats, Kimberly-Clark SA unite to support women and children shelters
Uber Eats and Kimberly-Clark South Africa (K-CSA) have partnered to donate a selection of essential products to women and children at shelters.
During May, every Kotex or Huggies product Eaters purchase via Medicare Pharmacy in the Uber Eats app, Kimberly-Clark will match and donate one to a women or children shelter across South Africa.
"We feel very strongly about our responsibility to make a positive contribution to our communities," says John Clark, marketing director at K-CSA. "This partnership fits well with both our values and vision as we can provide more essentials to those women and children who need it most."
Ailyssa Pretorius, Uber Eats general manager for South Africa concludes, "In these dire times, many in South Africa are in need, and those who are able to lend a helping hand are encouraged to do so."
