The “Join the Song” campaign invites people from all over the world to record a line of Depeche Mode's “Enjoy the Silence.” The track hit the charts in 1990 and became one of Depeche Mode's first top 10 releases in both Europe and the US. The world will now have the chance to record their own version of the much-loved single with the launch of www.jointhesong.com - an online music platform where budding performers can cut their own adaptation of the track, upload and mix with other people's versions across the globe. Sony Ericsson currently holds the world record for the Largest Functioning Mobile Phone for its scaled up version of the W810i model.
