Mboweni appointed chairman of Nampak

Former Reserve Bank governor Tito Mboweni has been appointed chairman of packaging group Nampak with effect from 1 June 2010, Nampak announced on Tuesday, 2 February 2010. Nampak also announced that its non-executive chairman, Trevor Evans, had decided to step down as chairman and director of the company on 31 May. Nampak expressed its sincere appreciation to Evans for his many years of service to the group, including the past nine years as chairman. Source:I-Net Bridge
