The Jo'burg Metro Police launched a sting operation outside the SABC on Tuesday and arrested 30 SABC employees for unpaid traffic fines. Among those arrested was 702's Tim Modise, whose radio talk show had to go on without him, head of news Barney Mthombothi, and channel head Romeo Khumalo. Could this be a canny public awareness drive on the part of Jo'burg Metro?
