At the recent Africa Travel Summit, Airbnb revealed that it had already hosted more than two million guests in South Africa since it was first introduced in 2008.
South Africa currently has more than 38,000 Airbnb hosts and at least 40% of those are in Cape Town, which was ranked Airbnb's most popular destination in Africa.
