Maturely launching with Simonsberg
Simonsberg, the masters of fine cheese continue their quest for flavour, adding a limited release Matured Gouda and Matured Cheddar to their award-winning collection of fine cheeses.
For this special unveiling, Chef Peter Goffe-Wood’s new studio, The Alchemy Workshop, in Salt River was chosen.
The venue gave off the feeling of an underground club that the elite would visit for sophisticated and elegant lunches prepared especially for them. The industrial feel of the large building was broken by the soft white of orchids and white linen.
Chef Peter Goffe-Wood did the honours by preparing three courses where the unique flavours of these new cheeses were incorporated.
