autoplay, a new work by Louise Coetzer, features a blend of dance, live art, sound installation, and digital art. The show explores the interaction between humans and machines, confronting themes of identity and autonomy in the digital age.
autoplay will be running from 10 to 28 September at Longkloof Studios in Cape Town. It includes an original score by Brydon Bolton and Njabulo Phungula, with vocals by Inge Beckmann. Choreography, direction, and set design are by Louise Coetzer, with performances by Bronwyn Craddock, Darion Adams, Vuyelwa Phota, Gabrielle Fairhead, and Tamsyn Pretorius.
