An interactive exhibition examined natural fabrics and critical phases in a sustainable supply chain as part of the festival. Attendees were able to see sheep and Merino goats being sheared, as well as the spinning, weaving and dyeing of natural wool. Additionally, the seamstresses and cutters who manufacture the clothing were on hand to demonstrate their technique and interact with observers. The day concluded with a presentation of the new MaXhosa Africa AW2023 collection. This compilation, named The Sons and Daughters of Credo Mutwa, is a tribute to one of South Africa's greatest Sanusi and magical storytellers.
