Where can I find standard rates of employment for the publishing industry?

Bullard on blogs – storm in a teacup?

Yesterday, the Sunday Times published a column by David Bullard which has gotten South African bloggers all riled up (see search results on aggregators Afrigator and Amatomu. Ray Hartley, editor of the soon-to-launch The Times, makes the following observation on his blog: β€œThe question I have is why do bloggers feel so threatened by an old media column? And why does an old media columnist feel so threatened by blogging?” 7 May 2007

Press freedom

Press freedom is no different from individual`s freedom and I don`t see anything wrong with governments legislating that since the media has never proven itself to be indepent and ethical and so governments have the right to be sceptical. 3 Apr 2007
