Why have black languages vanished on TV ads?

Advertising for the black market has become English.

It amazing to see that the Afrikaans consumers are still targeted in Afrikaans on television. Black consumers have no advertisements which target them in their languages like in the past. Could this be because of cost factors or does it mean that the black consumers needs to be spoken to in English for advertising to talk to them? Why is this not the case with the Afrikaans market? Maybe it is just me but I know that it is not all of the black consumers who want to be sold products and services to in English. It would be interesting to hear what the SABC's Actions Stations would have to say about this. We know that the black buying power is at its all time high but why are the advertising budgets for the market being compromised? I would like to also challenge black senior marketing managers, ceo's and advertising directors on this issue.
