Today 20 May 2010, Quark announced the availability of an in-depth case study detailing InterTI´s innovative way of producing niiu, claimed to be the first customised daily newspaper, with Quark Dynamic Publishing Technology.
Since the launch of niiu in Berlin, Hendrik Tiedemann and Wanja Oberhof from InterTI GmbH have been giving dozens of interviews to newspapers, magazines, and TV stations from all continents. Their project of a customized daily newspaper is said to be creating excitement among publishers and media experts exploring the future of publishing. The technology behind this innovative newspaper production was developed and implemented by Swiss technology service provider and authorized Quark system integrator Previon AG.
Previon AG opted for Quark technologies to implement a dynamic publishing solution suitable for this project. The core technology is QuarkXPress Server, which combines the high-quality typography and graphics support of QuarkXPress with server-based performance for automated processes.
