Airbus, Côte d'Ivoire government sign MoU on aerospace industry
Both parties will explore channels of cooperation in developing the aerospace sector in Côte d'Ivoire in various areas under the terms of the MoU.
Vice president of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Daniel Duncan, says: “We are confident that this partnership with Airbus will contribute to Côte d’Ivoire’s economic growth as well as support us build a stronger framework for industrial development, the creation of jobs and capacity building for our country.”
President of Airbus Commercial Aircraft, Guillaume Faury, says: “Collaboration between the public and private sector is essential to facilitate economic and industrial growth. Through this MoU, we will work closely with Côte d'Ivoire’s government, share expertise, discuss opportunities and support efforts in building a robust and sustainable aerospace sector.”
The MoU was signed by the minister of transport of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Amadou Koné, and the president of Airbus Africa in the Middle East, Mikail Houari.
