Coca-Cola Africa appoints marketing chief

Alex Cummings, president of Coca-Cola Africa, said: "Manchia's leadership of the pan-African marketing team will help support the drive for accelerated growth in the Africa Group and lead the implementation of our sponsorship of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa."

Manchia will be responsible for the company's promotions across Africa, and will effectively take up her new role from 1 April 2007.
