    Direct flights to Harare, Lusaka

Airlink has commenced direct scheduled services from Johannesburg to Harare, Zimbabwe; and Johannesburg to Lusaka, Zambia.
    Direct flights to Harare, Lusaka

The Jo'burg – Harare flights operate Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, and this schedule will be extended to run on a daily basis from August 2007. Airlink's BAE146/200 90 seater aircraft, with Business Class option, will be used for weekday flights.

Karin Murray, Airlink marketing manager, says this offering comes in response to the demand from corporate travellers for an additional direct flight to Harare.

The Jo'burg - Lusaka route operates every Monday to Friday and Sundays, with same day returns on the 37 seater ERJ135 jet.

Airlink has also introduced the BAE146/200 90 seater aircraft on its existing Jo'burg - Ndola, Zambia route. This double daily flight schedule aims to provide improved on-board service with the introduction of a Business Class option. The timing of the schedule offers connectivity for onward flights and the larger aircraft increases Airlink's capacity on the route, catering for the increasing amount of cargo and number of corporate travellers visiting Zambia's mining regions.

The airline's ties with South African Airways (SAA) ensures benefits for its travellers, which include Voyager Miles, interline connections with SAA and its partner flights, as well as the convenience of booking car, accommodation and all flights online.
