    Malawi: BNL rebrands website

Malawi's oldest media institution, the Blantyre Newspaper Group has rebranded its website, which has new features that will, among other things, allow feedback and opinion from readers.

The rebranding has also allows an online banner facility, text links, commercial and social opinion polls, online archiving as well as a feedback collection tool.

“We are operating in a digital era and as print media market leaders we have once again set the pace in developing innovations that keep us relevant to the business environment,” BNL sales and marketing manager Dumisani Ngulube is quoted in one of the country's dailies as saying.

This comes barely a month after BNL started publishing an evening newspaper every Friday called The Weekend Times which is coming on the back of The Daily Times, Malawi News and Sunday Times.

The website, www.bnltimes.com has been operational since last week and Ngulube said it has offered them an opportunity to engage with their readers and advertisers who have been following them for the last 114 years.
