Turkish Yeni Raki targets tourists with PocketMedia
Yeni Raki, a traditional Turkish alcoholic beverage, engaged consumers inside duty free shops with promoters who handed out fridge magnet Z-CARDs. The product is marketed as an, "Authentic taste of the Mediterranean", a gift to take back home.
"The PocketMedia application has been produced in six different languages to ensure that customers know how to consume the beverage," confirms Burç Uygurmen, PM of Yeni Raki in Turkey.
The aim of the cards is to briefly inform tourists to Turkey about the national drink and the culture surrounding it.
