Sponsored film training for TV news
There are a limited number of sponsored places available for the three-week course on producing news and current affairs for TV, run by the Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking and sponsored by the Department of Arts and Culture. Entries close on Tuesday 20 March 2012.
Well-known journalists Claude Colart (Al Jazeera) and Johann Abrahams (formerly Special Assignment) will facilitate the development workshops in Johannesburg and Cape Town respectively.
To enter, submit a one-page story/idea for selection to be developed into a short news piece with a story title, the name of the author, author's ID and contact details. The full-day course runs from 26 March to 13 April 2012 in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
