Roscar film finalists start screening next week
Wild Talk Africa, the premier international film festival and conference for the global wildlife filmmaking industry, will screen the finalists films, selected from 267 entries across 22 countries, at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town, between 25 March and 7 April 2011.
The winners of the Roscar Award film competition wil be announced at Spier in Stellenbosch, Cape Town on 30 March 2011.
The films were entered into the various 15 award categories which included Best Cinematography, Best Environmental Production, Best Presenter, Best Expedition/Adventure and Best African Filmmaker Award. They were then judged by well-known professionals in the wildlife filmmaking industry, from international broadcasters to some of the most experienced filmmakers.
