Good Food & Wine Show opens today

The Good Food & Wine Show Johannesburg opens today, Thursday, 29 October 2009 at the Coca-Cola Dome in North Riding and runs until Sunday, 1 November. Swiss International Air Lines has flown six BBC celebrity chefs into South Africa, who are accommodated by Southern Sun Palazzo, Montecasino.

They are Ainsley Harriott, Reza Mohammad and Patrick Williams and some new faces to the show - Valentine Warmer and Italian chef Giancarlo and his wife Katie Caldesi, who will launch her new book The Italian Cookery School at the show.

Entrance to the Good Food & Wine Show is R65 for adults and R30 for pensioners and children, and tickets entitle holders to a range of free food and wine samplings, prizes, special offers and giveaways. The show is open from 10am to 9pm except on Sunday when it will close at 6pm. Tickets are available online or at the door.
