    Exciting Audiovision Sound Emporium set to draw crowds at 12th Cape Homemakers Expo

    Now in its third year, the Audiovision Sound Emporium promises to be one of the highlights at this year's Cape Homemakers Expo. Taking place from 30 August to 2 September 2007 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), the Sound Emporium will again offer visitors a massive range of the very best digital home entertainment, sound distribution and digital imaging products.

    Products on display will include portable digital media players, digital cameras, plasma and LCD televisions, home theatre systems, DVD hard disc recorders, as well as audio distribution systems all from the leaders in their respected fields such as Boston, Harman-Kardon, Hitachi, Infinity, LG, NAD, Panasonic, Rotel, Samsung, Sony and Yamaha.

    “Audiovision's prominence in the marketplace has increased tremendously and so has the customer's expectation of what they want to see from us. Now in its third year, the Audiovision Sound Emporium has established itself as a not-to-be-missed event on the calendar. We showcase the very latest and best in technology,” says Werner Volschenk of Audiovision. “Technology has changed to the extent that equipment has become multi-functional. Through networking technology you can maximise your products' use in and out the home with the least amount of stress.”

    Volschenk continues: “We'll be showcasing great new products such as Sony's latest Bravia series and three new high definition LCD panel TV's. On the more serious side of sound, Rotel will exhibit their new RSX1058 theatre amplifier and Boston will display their latest E-series speakers.

    “Samsung will demonstrate their first commercial Blu Ray Disc player with its radical technology as well as their first range of LCD and Plasma TV's. A must-have is their motorised wall mounted unit for any LCD or plasma TV which can turn for maximum viewing enjoyment. And there will also be the pick of the crop by Yamaha, Hitachi, Harman/Kardon and their sister company Infinity, NAD and LG. This year's Sound Emporium is a definite must – our products will blow you away!”
