moyo on the Bay

According to Adriaan Fourie, national sales manager of moyo, moyo blouberg is one of four restaurants opening in the coming months, in its quest to be the leading African dining and experience brand.

Blouberg opens on Wednesday 9 December 2009 only metres away from the Atlantic Ocean, within the new Eden-on-the-Bay development in Big Bay.

This venue will seat 350 guests over four levels with views of Robben Island and Table Mountain and big emphasis is placed on innovative and creative décor and daily live African entertainment. It will offer an a la carte menu for individual diners and set menu options for larger events, featuring more seafood options, Cape Malay influences as well as some West Coast favourites. It has a large heated fountain with bar seats inside, long board bar counters situated in shallow water and a rooftop bar for those perfect Cape Town sundowners.

Fourie, who joined the group in July, is implementing a more effective sales strategy as well as assisting in positioning all the moyo venues.
