Mobile Advertising goes full colour

Cape Town based viral marketing agency, Infectiousagent, has added a new innovative offering to their basket of mobile goodies.

Infectiousagent Communications aquired the rights to offer advertising space on a very unique product called "MXit", which is currently used on the mobile phones of approximately 500,000 young trendoids across the country. This community currently grows at an astounding rate of 3,000 users each and every day.

Once loaded on a users phone, 'MXit' allows its users to chat with each other via text, at a super low rate of about 2c per message, making the use of expensive sms's only an option for the uninformed.

Users log in to MXit about a million times per month. This is where the advertisers' opportunity lies. Each login allows for a full colour ad to be displayed (since the application only supports full colour mobile screens) on as many mobile phones as an advertisers wishes to budget for, in a completely uncluttered environment.

Not only is it unique and very innovative, it is also priced at a rate far below the industry norm. With a cost per thousand (CPM) of R50, it means that it is roughly ten times cheaper than any other medium around.

The other nice thing about it, is the fact that an advertiser can plan to run consecutive ads, and be guaranteed that each user has seen each ad, and also exactly in which sequence it was seen.

Add to that, the amount of times you'd like a user to see each ad, and WHEN you'd like them to see it, and you have a winning formula for creative advertising.

Infectiousagent Communications specialise in viral marketing and offer mobile marketing solutions in terms of dialogue marketing, social networks, mobile picture recognition and other stuff you know nothing about.
