P&G's winning products

The Product of the Year awards, announced on 3 February 2011, were open to all products launched in South Africa over the past 18 months. Winning products, judged on their level of innovation by AC Nielsen in one of the largest independent surveys of its kind in South Africa, were ultimately selected by SA consumers.

Procter & Gamble, won three awards in the Male Shaving (Gillette Cool White razors), Baby Care (Pampers Sensitive Wipes) and Diaper (Pampers Premium Care) categories.

Stanislav Vecera, GM of P&G South and East Africa says, "Our research has shown that consumers want environmentally friendly products without a trade-off in price or performance, so we are developing products that meet consumer's needs while maximizing the conservation of resources. The honour of South African consumers voting three of our products the best in terms of innovation proves to us that our constant innovation and focus on sustainability is the key to the product's success and is something we will continue to focus on."
