More time for designing in the loo

The Letter Corporation (TLC), Primedia Unlimited's washroom advertising arm, has extended the deadline for entries to LOOvre 2006, due to popular demand, until 30 June 2006. The final artwork in digital format, suitably printed, must be delivered to TLC in Rivonia, Johannesburg, or, for easy access, entrants can use the online entry facility.

"The competition is open to designers and creatives who wish to see their advertising come alive via this exciting media platform," comments Andrew Kramer, managing director, TLC. "We are impressed with the entries already received. It shows that the designers understand the medium and see it as a great way to attract a captive, gender specific audience."

The panel of judges includes: Brett Morris, executive creative director, FCB Johannesburg; Thomas Oosthuizen, an independent media consultant; Louise Marsland, editor, Bizcommunity.com; Wicus Swanepoel, media director, Nota Bene; Colin Ramparsadh, media director, Zenith Optimedia; and Brendan Seery, executive editor, Saturday Star.

"With exciting prizes to the value of R25 000, including a Panasonic PWD Plasma TV, Play Station Portables (PSPs), games and much much more, we have to give the designers more time to get those creative juices flowing," adds Kramer.

Results will be revealed on www.xxxxl.co.za in July. For more competition information, visit www.xxxxl.co.za.
