It's for Life enters third series

Three contrasting characters from diverse backgrounds left their daily lives to go through a series of frustrating and exciting challenges to find out more about themselves for the third series of It's for Life.

The traditional San culture of Jan Tieties, the black-urban culture of Nini Mabe and the Afrikaans new-age culture of Conrad Potgieter provide remarkable viewing in the SABC Education reality programme.

Jo Neethling, Project Manager at SABC Education says: "The series is a journey of personal growth and consciousness. Three participants are challenged to define their essence and identity in the diverse opportunity filled land of South Africa. Through a new appreciation of who they are, they are empowered to manifest their ultimate potential.

"The participants spend 13 enduring weeks together participating in a personal growth path, they get to know themselves, develop tolerance, appreciate diversity, rights values and ethics and finally from everything they have learnt they are equipped to move into the future to fulfil their diverse dreams."

Will Nini, Jan and Conrad make the final step in achieving their dreams that are as diverse as their backgrounds? Nini wants to open her own business, consulting in labour relations. Jan Tieties is passionate about preserving his San culture by passing down traditions to the younger generation. Conrad wants to be a landscape designer.

It's for Life screens on Sundays at midday on SABC2 and is directed and produced on behalf of SABC Education by Marguerite Albrecht.
