Nicky Greenwall back in the showbiz spotlight

Entertainment reporter and It girl, Nicky Greenwall, is back and will be hosting a brand new showbiz programme on etv this new year. Greenwall tapped into the pulse of South Africa's hottest lifestyle options when she first started as a presenter for Nightlife. Now she's back with 'Showbiz Report'.

Showbiz Report will bring viewers all the hottest news, views and gossip surrounding their favourite stars. The show moves into the slot currently filled by Nightlife. "I'm glad to be back," enthuses Greenwall. "Television entertainment is where it's at and I'm very excited about the new show... watch this space!"

Showbiz Report promises audiences the very best in entertainment news. For intimate, in depth and playful insights into the lives of local and international celebrities, viewers can make a date with Nicky Greenwall from Thursday, 13 January 2005, at 7.30pm.

Romy Titus, the talented presenter who took over the Nightlife reins from Greenwall, has decided to go back to her first love - journalism. Titus will be producing and presenting her own news and current affairs based feature during etv's breakfast show, Morning Edition.

Titus says, "It'll be great going back to the family unit of Morning Edition and I'm looking forward to tackling hard-core journalism again. Nightlife was a terrific experience, but producing and presenting news and current affairs is where I want to be."

Titus' move to Morning Edition forms part of etv's new strategy to increase the profile of its morning news show in 2005.

"We have big plans for Morning Edition in the new year and Romy's involvement - both in a producing and presenting capacity - will assist us to raise the profile of the show," says Morning Edition's executive producer Monde Twala. "Morning Edition played a big part in Romy's career and her growth as a journalist and I'm happy to have her back. She's always been passionate about this show and she's the right person to help us take it to greater heights."
