    MultiChoice, History Channel investigate crime

Calling all armchair detectives… On Wednesday, 28 February 2007, MultiChoice is launching the Crime & Investigation Network with The History Channel UK, a joint venture between A&E Television Networks (AETN) and British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyb). Local content will be an integral part of the offering, with series such as South African Strangler: Moses Sithole.

Says Aletta Alberts, MultiChoice South Africa GM for Content, “MultiChoice is constantly in pursuit of channels that are at the forefront of new trends and will offer our viewers more choice and satisfy their diverse viewing needs. We are very pleased to add the internationally successful Crime & Investigation Network to our documentary offering.”

The History channel UK and AETN successfully launched the History channel in South Africa in December 2003, and now mark the second channel launch with the introduction of Crime & Investigation Network.

Crime & Investigation Network (channel 69) is the place to come for gripping true crime stories that you feel a part of solving, for pitting your wits against the criminal mind. DStv customers can view top international series such as The Criminal Mind, Crime Central, Cold Case Files, and Diagnosis Unknown.
