Waterfront Charters has been offering scheduled cruises from Cape Town's Victoria and Alfred Waterfront for the past 23 years. This family-run business was among the first tenants of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Waterfront Charters returns

The original owners, Nelson and Maureen Girdlestone, were instrumental in pioneering the boat trip and yacht charter industry from the very inception of the Waterfront. With an undying passion for boating in general, the Girdlestones have been pivotal in the development of this industry and by using their vessels and the ocean, have created an extension of the Waterfront, moulding it to what it is today.

Waterfront Charters returns

This company has been operating under the name of Waterfront Boat Company since 2000. As from 1 October 2013, the company will revert to its original name of Waterfront Charters and continue to trade with four vessels - a total capacity of 285. Waterfront Charters will continue to operate from its premises at Shop 5, Quay 5 in the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town right next Sevruga Restaurant.

Sea Princess is the luxury catamaran and Queen of the fleet. She can take up to 145 passengers and is ideal for larger groups and functions. The Esperance is the classic sailing 54ft schooner holding up to 45 passengers while the Southern Cross, a comfortable and stable Cape Trawler hull offers regular harbour tours. The adrenalin Jet Boat offers high speed rides up to 80km/h! All vessels are available for charter, individual sales and sunset cruises.
