#987Woman aims to celebrate South Africa’s women leaders in their respective spaces, while displaying their dynamism beyond what they are publicly renowned for. South Africa’s most accomplished women will take over the airwaves from 8-10 August 2016.

As guest presenters, these powerful women will share their perspectives on leadership, work, fun and family to highlight their individual personalities. Listeners will enjoy the voice of African Union chairperson, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, who will make her debut as a presenter on Power 98.7. Felicia Mabuza-Suttle will travel from Miami to reconnect with South Africans on the airwaves.

Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor and Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, who both featured in the 2015 line-up, are back by popular demand. Former radio talk show host Jenny Crwys-Williams will make her debut.

The line-up also includes Nedbank chief financial officer, Raisibe Morathi; NEF CEO, Philisiwe Mthethwa; Ndalo Media CEO, Khanyi Dhlomo; City of Ekurhuleni chief financial officer, Ramasela Ganda; Standard Bank CEO of personal and business banking, Funeka Montjane; Wiphold CEO, Gloria Serobe; and Peotona Holdings CEO, Cheryl Carolus.

BBC’s Lerato Mbele, CNBC’s Nozipho Mbanjwa, Independent Newspapers’ Nomzamo Mbatha and Minnie Dlamini as well as Karima Brown, formerly of Independent Newspapers, will represent the media and entertainment industry. The line-up will also feature some of the station’s regular listeners.
