This designation recognises Hill as being part of an elite group of hospitality professionals. Having worked in the hospitality industry for more than 26 years, Hill has effectively managed various departments in leading hotels and earned the recognition.

About the accolade, Hill comments, “I have always wanted to be a Certified Hotel Administrator, just like some people want to be pilots, or lawyers. The AHLEI is widely recognised as the preeminent leader in hospitality certification with over 60 years of building trust across the world. The certification itself has quite a grueling exam and selection criteria, but what is most impressive is the maintenance points system. This system insists on your involvement on industry boards and governing bodies, community work, as well as the upliftment of standards within the hospitality industry through mentorship and coaching”.
