News24 reports that from July consumers will be able to buy a new Nexus tablet device from Google Play's website at a cost of about $199. The Nexus 7 will compete against Apple's iPad, Samsung's Galaxy and Amazon's Kindle among a plethora of others.
The seven inch tablet computer is built by Asus, has a 1280 x 800 high resolution screen and Nvidia Tegra 3 processor that runs Google's Jelly Bean software. The software has built-in 'voice search' capabilities, says News24.
