One of the innate issues in Africa is unstable power supply and demand. To ensure televisions can resist sudden power surges, Samsung strengthened surge-resistant features of its regional models, the 32-inch LCD and LED televisions. These models were specifically developed to meet the continent's unique market conditions.

Samsung strengthens surge-resistant features in TV models

Due to sudden power surges caused by the lack of power facilities and rising power demand, consumer electronic products have been very susceptible to frequent failures. To address the issue the manufacturer developed these "Built for Africa" models.
