Maxes the official distributor of Toshiba in Namibia

Toshiba Computer Systems has appointed Maxes Office Machines as an official importer and distributor for its notebook computers in Namibia. Maxes will also be Toshiba's official warranty and service centre, providing support to Toshiba customers across Namibia.

This collaboration reinforces Toshiba's commitment to make its notebook computing solutions more readily available to businesses and home users in Namibia, and expands the company's range of products - now providing a full range of computing needs.

Maxes is a 100% Namibian company and offers diversified product line-up with professional solutions for any application. It offers reliable and competitive pricing, and guarantees customer satisfaction. The company has a countrywide representation with services offered by trained and skilled technicians, sufficient stocks on machines and genuine original spare parts, and a complete fleet of delivery vehicles.

    Engagement with schools

"We have a three-point strategy in place to expand the reach of Toshiba notebooks in Namibia," says Frank Snyman, CEO of Maxes. "Our first goal is to establish a network of dealers across the country, in order to expand the brand's footprint across the country beyond our Windhoek, Oshakati and Rundu branches. We will maintain the service and warranty centre in Windhoek, in order to support the dealer network that we are going to build, in the unlikely event that any service or warranty-related inquiries occur."

Snyman adds that his next goal is to engage with the Namibian government, in order to extend the benefits offered by Toshiba's range of high-performance notebooks to government. "It is also a personal goal of mine to engage with rural communities and schools, to introduce the life-changing benefits of interacting with technology to Namibians who would otherwise not have access to the wealth of tools and information that is available in the connected world," Snyman adds.

    Reputation of integrity

"Choosing the right product for the right job requires detailed understanding of the capabilities of the product, and having the correct service channel in place," says Snyman. "Maxes offers its capabilities to help businesses adopt world class standards in technology by providing solutions for any market, application or need."

"Maxes Office Systems has a well established reputation of integrity and customer service, which is why we are so excited to be collaborating with them in the Namibian market," says Nelo Neves, Toshiba's Africa channel manager. "The company has a unique understanding of the local market. Toshiba is looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the team at Maxes."
