The Imbasa Yegolide Awards serve to highlight the important roles that retirement fund office bearers play in executing their fiduciary duties as Trustees and Principal Officers. The Awards are an important opportunity for Trustees and Principal Officers to make their voices heard.
New category
This year, for the first time, a new category has been introduced to the awards to showcase and recognise consumer education initiatives on the part of retirement funds. The category is called the Member Education Fund Challenge.
Unlike the other categories, where retirement funds nominate their favourite service providers, this category allows funds themselves to compete. The aim of the challenge is to build excellence in member education that will contribute to financial capability and financial well-being.
The award ceremony will take place at the Batseta Winter Conference at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg on Monday, 1 June 2015.
