Today's cyber threats hide in plain sight amidst your network traffic, making them nearly impossible to defend against. These advanced threats use applications as their infiltration vector, exhibit application-like evasion tactics and leverage commonly used network applications for exfiltration.

Palo Alto Networks will analyse the intertwined relationship between cyber attacks and applications based on recent data collected from over 5,500 networks worldwide. The workshop will also feature a live demonstration of how to use a next-generation enterprise security platform to reduce your organisational attack surface and build a more robust organisational security posture.

"Our participation in the BankingTech Forum underscores our initiative to help banks in the South African market understand the power of a next-generation approach to securing their organisations and preventing cyber threats from compromising their critical assets," says Brandon Rochat, Palo Alto Networks' country manager for South Africa.
