Mike Rossi exhibits

Mike Rossi will be exhibiting from the 20th September a series of black and white photographic landscapes - 16 x 1.5m wide prints in the foyer of the Nedbank / BOE Clocktower building, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, under the theme 'Shadow over Stones'.

This journey has taken him seven years. Starting out in 2005 he has have travelled all over South Africa. The theme 'Shadow over Stones' is about the disappearing koppies in the South African landscape through industry and nature. He pursued darkened nimbus clouds over the landscape as this symbolised the tragedy of the disappearing landscapes.

On his website www.mikerossi.co.za you will also discover fascinating stories under three headings - 'Stories behind the photographs', 'Chronicles under Nimbus' and 'Recipes under Nimbus'. The latter two are stories that will be updated every week to 10 days once the exhibition starts. They will also be linked to Facebook.
