    Wavescape Festival

On Saturday, 5 December, 2015, when Cape Town's Clifton Fourth Beach will transform into a massive outdoor cinema. The Wavescape Festival will screen four films that take the audience on a journey around the world to some of the best beaches and surfing locations.

The festival announced a bumper 2015 edition of its 12th annual festival, with 29 films - from short to feature length - officially selected.

    Wavescape Festival

An all-Africa night will be held this year, featuring films by local South African filmmakers, and Wavescape will also premiere Ocean Driven, starring local big-wave surfer Chris Bertish, as well as No Regrets, the story of Ricky Basnett by Jason Hearn.

A common theme in the films for 2015, which include inspiring ocean stories from Chile to Norway and Iceland, explores the relationship between humans and nature where people are pushing the boundaries, from conquering icy-cold water and mountain-high waves to exploring the most remote places on Earth.
