DYOF signs European album deal
The deal will result in a German, Swiss and Austrian release of the first international single, Boxes Of Tigers, through massive radio plugging company Revolver Promotions, with print media being handled by Music Matters and physical distribution via Broken Silence.
A dream come true
The mood in the band is obviously celebratory. Lead singer and primary song writer Tom Manners had this to say about the news: "To branch out and release an album in another country is a dream come true for any band. We're incredibly excited to see where this takes [us] and we definitely think it's the next logical step for us. We just want to have as many people as possible hear our music, so the chance to release our album in Europe is one we grabbed with both hands."
Catch them live this Saturday at the Town Hall, Newtown from 8pm. Tickets R50 or R100 at the door with a copy of "Secret Chiefs".
