From humble beginnings in 2003, the group has made a huge impact on the South African music scene.

They have shared a stage with international artists Joss Stone, UB40, Angelique Kidjo and opened for rock group Live during their tour of South Africa. The band also made musical history by becoming the first South African band to sign a multi-territory deal with a major label, Universal Music and their hit song, Beautiful, was used in an Irish commercial.

    An array of awards

The band has since gone on to play over 800 shows around the world and has collected an array of awards, including the 2009 SAMA Award for best music video and three 2009 MK Awards for best video, best animation and best serenade.

The four-member band consists of Kahn Morbee on vocals and guitar, Neil Pauw on drums, Paul Hodgson on guitar, and Glen Hodgson on bass, piano and backing vocals.

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost between R150 and R200 and bookings can be made at www.powerzone.co.za or via Computicket.
