Taxi Violence head off to Europe

Taxi Violence bids us farewell as they leave on their first European Tour today. They will play 12 shows in Germany and Holland.
Taxi Violence head off to Europe

“From the start the band always had its sights set on breaking into the international market. It's only the first step, but we feel seasoned enough now to present our flavour to a broader audience and hope to absorb many new influences on our way,” says George van der Spuy, lead singer.

Louis Nel, drummer says that he is looking forward to performing in front of a brand new audience the most. And to find out what people from other countries think about Taxi Violence's music, especially those that get spoiled by the greatest names in rock every summer.

But getting on the airplane today was not easy. “It is a massive amount of money we had to pay from our own pockets. We even had to make loans. The fact is, it is a risk that any band has to take,” says Louis. Who knows, if may just turn into the best investment Taxi Violence ever made.

They will be back in November to share the mischief and mayhem they were up to, but in the meantime we can keep track of them on Facebook:
