Medicine Boy to release debut LP

'Kinda Like Electricity', the debut LP from Medicine Boy, will be independently released in South Africa in August in partnership with Permanent Record and Roastin' Records. The album is a natural collection of influences - from soaring psychedelia and fuzzed-out noise to primal blues rhythms and country/folk balladeering, all baptised in reverb.

The album is self-produced by the dream noise duo: Andre Leo and Lucy Kruger. It was recorded in December of 2015 and February/March 2016 by Dave Langemann at his home studio in Cape Town with additional recording done at Digital Forest Studio. The album was mixed by Dave and mastered by Johnny Tex.
