Skiing and snowboarding at Africa's highest altitude music festival

The Afriski Winter Fest, Africa's highest altitude music festival, will be held from Thursday, 27 to Sunday, 30 August, 2015, at the Afriski Mountain Resort, Lesotho. The festival will include top bands and DJs from around South Africa.

The festival starts on Thursday night. Friday night will have some entertainment too, but the main day will be Saturday, 29 August with all bands and DJs performing during the day and night.

Bands and DJs include: radio hits Iscream & The Chocolate Stix and The Kiffness (DJ Set), with Cape Town trio Chris Taylor, Jak Skandi and Viktoria kicking off on the decks. Rising Joburg bands The Motherland and The Sextons will entertain with their unique sounds while DJs "Way Back When", Mehow and Black Sparrow will round off the weekend's entertainment.

Bumboarding

Snowboarding and skiing will be available every day for beginners, intermediate and experts, with loads of 'fun stuff' activities planned including 'bumboarding', tubing, paintball and Saturday's 'pond skimming' competition.

Cost: Packages start from R3500 per person. All packages include accommodation, R2000. Food and Beverage Card and Weekend Music Festival Pass. Optional Extras include ski gear rental, snow pass and ski lessons.
